The short version: We collect only what we need to run AlgoSolveo: your sign-in details, your practice progress, and your purchases. Your code runs in your own browser. We don't sell your data or show ads.
1. Who we are
AlgoSolveo ("we", "us") runs algosolveo.me, a learning site for B.Tech students and graduates with a DSA roadmap, an in-browser practice editor, revision and mock tools, courses and paid subject notes (Notes Vault). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Contact: manikethanreddychalla20@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Account details: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Practice progress: problems you've solved or tried, revision schedule, quiz and mock results, and your study plan. If you're signed in, this is saved to your account so it follows you across devices; if not, it stays in your browser.
- Purchases: what you bought, the amount, the date and the payment reference, so we can unlock your notes or courses.
- Waitlist emails: the email you enter in a "Notify me" or "Unlock" form, and which course or note it was for.
- Messages you send us by email.
3. What we don't collect
- Your code. The practice editor compiles and runs your code inside your browser; it isn't sent to our servers.
- Your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled by our payment provider (Razorpay), which has its own privacy policy.
- Your browsing history on other sites. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
4. How we use it
To sign you in, save and sync your progress, give you access to what you paid for, email you when a course or payment you asked about opens, answer your messages, and prevent abuse. We don't sell, rent or share your personal data for advertising.
5. Service providers
- Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage)
- Google (sign-in)
- GitHub Pages (website hosting)
- Razorpay (payments, once enabled)
- jsDelivr, cdnjs and Google Fonts (load code libraries and fonts; they may see your IP address)
6. Storage in your browser
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to store progress and settings. You can clear it from your browser settings at any time.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account and progress while your account is active. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. Waitlist emails are deleted once the course opens and we've told you, or when you ask.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Email manikethanreddychalla20@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and we'll respond within 30 days.
9. Children
AlgoSolveo is meant for college students and graduates. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian's consent.
10. The AlgoSolveo extension
Our Chrome extension isn't released yet. We'll add its details to this policy before it launches.
11. Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
